About Us

Hi, I’m Courtney Chaffin Gordon owner of the The Lily Pad. The Lily Pad is more than just a boutique — it’s my passion, my community, and a little piece of my heart in every town it calls home.

It all started in 2000 when I opened the first Lily Pad in my hometown of Clarksdale, Mississippi. Two years later, I brought the boutique to Oxford — a city near and dear to me as a proud Ole Miss Rebel. Now, with two of my three children at Mississippi State, Starkville has found its way into my heart as well, and The Lily Pad is proud to call it home too. Starkville location opening August 2026

For over 26 years, I have loved curating a collection of clothing, gifts, and Greek merchandise for women of all ages and walks of life. The Lily Pad has always been about more than shopping — it’s about celebrating the milestones, the everyday moments, and everything in between.
